ProArt is a line for professional creators developed and manufactured by ASUS since 2011. The ProArt series includes laptops, desktops, displays, motherboards, graphics cards, AiO coolers, chassis, and accessories designed for professionals in creative industries such as photography, graphic design, filmmaking & video editing, animation & game design, broadcasting & vlogging, product design & manufacturing, architecture, engineering a,nd construction. The product line includes features that support accurate color rendering, optimized performance, and compatibility with professional creative software platforms.

History

ASUS launched the ProArt line in 2011 with the PA246Q, a 24-inch P-IPS monitor targeting content creators requiring high color fidelity. In 2013, the company released the PQ321. This was followed by several notable models, including the 32-inch quantum dot PA329Q (2015), the portable OLED display PQ22UC (2018), and the PA32UCG (2020), which featured mini LED backlighting, HDR-1600 certification, Dolby Vision support, and a 120 Hz refresh rate—positioning it as a reference-grade display for HDR mastering and post-production.

By 2019, the ProArt brand began accelerating its expansion into the laptop segment. Early that year, ASUS introduced the ASUS StudioBook series at CES, followed by the debut of two high-end laptops at IFA Berlin: the ProArt Studiobook One, ProArt Studiobook Pro X, and the complete StudioBook lineup, marking the establishment of a full ProArt laptop portfolio.

In 2021, ProArt redefined its visual system with the concept: “Pro is the bedrock of creativity, and art is the art from creators.” The brand also introduced a unified visual identity system to strengthen communication. Upholding the spirit of “for creators, by creators,” ProArt is committed to delivering professional and comprehensive solutions to empower creators and fuel their imagination. Beyond product launches, ProArt collaborated with renowned global studios to refresh its brand identity and visual communication system—reinforcing its “for creators, by creators” philosophy in every aspect.

In 2023, ASUS expanded the ProArt series beyond displays and laptops into the PC components, motherboards, graphics cards, AiO liquid coolers, and chassis, designed to meet the needs of creators by emphasizing thermal efficiency, low acoustic profiles, and professional aesthetics.

ASUS has collaborated with organizations such as Adobe, Dolby, and Pantone to develop the ProArt series in alignment with professional creative workflows, encompassing displays, computing components, and related tools.
