Function Summary: This bot will notify article creators when their article is nominated for speedy deletion.

Function Details: This bot queries articles in the Candidates for speedy deletion category. It then goes through the individual article names and finds the creator of the article. Once the creator is found it loads the creator's talk page and scans for any occurance of the article name that is nominated for speedy deletion. If there are no occurances it will add the nn-warn template to the bottom of the talk page.

It is currently written to use the generic nn-warn template as suggested on the bot request page. Although I could easily have it load each article and find which tag it is using and place the corresponding notification template on the user's talk page. --Android Mouse 20:45, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
