On 16 January 2025 at 11:30 AM Two helmet-wearing assailants arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire on employees of Cash Management Services (CMS) who were refilling an ATM at Shivaji Chowk in Bidar^[4]. on a victim, discharging eight rounds. The victim sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. Preliminary investigations indicate the perpetrators stole ₹93 lakh (9.3 million rupees) in the incident^[5].
