Kori (born 15 March 2017) is a Pomeranian dog and internet celebrity known for viral videos on TikTok and Instagram. One of her clips has exceeded 1 billion views.[1] Kori has also appeared on Russian television and has been the subject of multiple media articles in Russia.[2]
Internet fame
Kori first went viral on TikTok in 2023 with short videos shot in urban night-time settings, often showing her sitting on a skateboard or scooter while wearing sunglasses. The most-watched clip, filmed at night in a city square, reached more than one billion views, making it the platform's fourth-most-viewed video overall and one of the most-viewed dog videos.[3] In 2024 the platform NEN highlighted Kori's popularity across multiple social-media trends.[4]
Appearance
Kori is a cream-coloured Pomeranian with golden and reddish-brown patches. Her public image centres on oversized sunglasses and a rotating selection of backwards baseball caps.
Media appearances
In 2025 Kori appeared on the Russian television entertainment programme РЖУНИМАГУ (Rzhunimagu), hosted by Andrey Malahov.[5] The segment was subsequently circulated on social media.
Cultural impact
Kori's image is frequently used in memes and fan art. The corporate X (formerly Twitter) account of Hyundai Motor Company referenced the dog in 2025, drawing attention to her viral popularity.[6]
Business Ventures
In 2024 Kori's owners launched an official merchandise line featuring caps, T-shirts and pet accessories, sold through Bonfire.[7]
In May 2025 they also created a Solana-based memecoin called $KORI, using the dog's likeness as its mascot.[8]
