Open Source Design (website: https://opensourcedesign.net/) [1] is a community created in 2016 to hold space for designers interested in open source. Open Source Design is a community of designers and developers pushing for more open design processes and improving the user experience and interface design of open-source software.

They state on their website:

"We are a community of designers and developers pushing for more open design processes and improving the user experience and interface design of open-source software."

Open Source design is maintained by a group of 'core team maintainers'. Open Source Design have a manifesto [2] and goals [3] visible on their website.

A forum hosted on discourse [4] is also maintained by the core maintainer team.
