Dwyer Workforce Development (DWD) is a workforce development nonprofit[1]. The mission on their website states they are working on solving the national healthcare staffing ciris by creating career pathways for individuals who lack opprotunity and aspire to work in healthcare. DWD provides CNA training, job placement support, wraparound services, case management, and career advancement opprotunities. There mission is to provide comprehensive support to individuals who aspire to pursue a career in the healthcare industry, allieviate the severe healthcare workforce shortage, and improve the lives of seniors and the community at large.

Since September of 2022, DWD has served over 6,000 Scholars and currently operates in Maryland, Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Kansas and New York. [2]

DWD was launched by Jack and Nancy Dwyer in 2021 as part of their committment to serve their community. As the owner and founder of Capital Funding Group and CFG Bank in Baltimore, Maryland [3]- Jack says he has seen firsthand the hardships of those in the nursing profession and the need to improve senior care.[4]

Dwyer Workforce Development partners with organizations who share their commitment to creating life-changing employment opportunities in our community, reducing healthcare staff shortages, and improving senior care.
