Dwyer Workforce Development (DWD) is a workforce development nonprofit dedicate to solving the national healthcare staffing ciris by creating career pathways for individuals who lack opprotunity and aspire to work in healthcar. DWD provides CNA training, job placement support, wraparound services, case management, and career advancement opprotunities. DWD's mission is to provide comprehensive support to individuals who aspire to pursue a career in the healthcare industry, allieviate the severe healthcare workforce shortage, and improve the lives of seniors and the community at large.^[1]

Since September of 2022, DWD has served over 6,000 Scholars and currently operates in Maryland, Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Kansas and New York.

DWD was launched by Jack and Nancy Dwyer in 2021 as part of their committment to serve their community. As the owner and founder of Capital Funding Group and CFG Bank in Baltimore, Maryland - two companies with a strong presence in the healthcare industry - Jack has see firsthand the hardships of those in the nursing profession and the need to improve senior care. ^[2]
