Gurujee Shahid El-Bukhari
[edit]Gurujee Shahid El-Bukhari, Mahajataq, is a pioneering figure who introduced scientific meditation to Bangladesh. He is the visionary behind Quantum Method - The Science of Living, a meditation system he developed and solely instructs, designed to empower individuals to address diverse life challenges without needing formal prerequisites.
Formerly a journalist and a leading writer on occultism and mysticism in Bangladesh, El-Bukhari embarked on a dedicated spiritual path in 1980, resigning from his role as News Editor at Dhaka’s first daily newspaper, The Azad. His commitment led to establishing the Yoga Meditation Center in 1983, later renamed the Yoga Foundation in 1987. Following years of research to make meditation techniques simpler and more accessible, he invented The Science of Living – Quantum Method in the early 1990s.
Since 1993, El-Bukhari has conducted over 499 batches of the Quantum Method Meditation course. Over the past 31 years, thousands from all walks of life—from academics and professionals to homemakers and young adults—have attended these courses.
His literary contributions, including the seminal Quantum Method —a bestseller in Bangladesh for three decades—and other acclaimed works like "Attonirman (Self Construction)," "Chetona otichetona, niramoy o proshanti (Conscious and Subconscious Mind, Peace and Cure)," and "1001 Autosuggestions to change your life," have deeply resonated with both critics and readers.
