Permutation Patterns is an annual international academic conference focusing on permutation patterns and their applications in combinatorics, computer science, and other areas of mathematics.[1]
History
The conference was founded by Michael H. Albert and Mike Atkinson and was first held at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand in 2003.[2] Since then, it has been held annually at various locations around the world.
The conference typically features plenary talks, contributed talks, and poster sessions. The proceedings of the meetings in the series have been published as special issues in journals including Advances in Applied Mathematics, Annals of Combinatorics, Discrete Mathematics & Theoretical Computer Science (’‘DMTCS), Enumerative Combinatorics and Applications, and Pure Mathematics and Applications.[3]
