The Wikipedia Purchase System, founded by Johnathan Secret, is the current system used for the purchase of Wikipedia. Per request of their lawyers, Jimmy Wales and Larry Sanger asked Secret to create the system. The system has been under supervision by the Wikipedia Purchase Management team since 2005.
