The song "Hard Fought Hallelujah" was released on November 8, 2024.[8][9] Lake spoke that "Hard Fought Hallelujah" is about the "battles we face, the grit throughout the fight for faith and the praise that comes after".[10][11]

Upon release, it debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes store across all genres.[12] Lyrically the song is based off of the parable of the prodigal son.[1] Lake shared the song was "maybe my favourite song I've ever written".[13] The song was praised by Jelly Roll, who called it "song of the year".[14]
