Infinity Learn is an Indian educational technology company based in Hyderabad, Telangana. The company launched in 2021 as the digital learning initiative of the Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions, one of India's largest education service providers.[1] Infinity Learn offers online learning solutions for students in grades 6 to 12 and provides coaching for competitive examinations such as the IIT-JEE and NEET.
As of 2025, the platform reports over 7 million registered users and more than 750,000 paid subscribers.[2][3]
History
Infinity Learn was established in 2021 in response to the increasing demand for remote education during the COVID-19 pandemic.[4] It was co-founded by Sushma Boppana, Sridhar Yalamanchili, and Seema Boppana, with the objective of translating Sri Chaitanya's offline classroom expertise into a digital format.[5]
The company initially launched services including live classes, video lectures, assessments, and AI-powered study tools. The platform expanded quickly due to the parent organization's established presence and the growing market for online education in India.
Acquisitions
Infinity Learn has acquired several education-related platforms to enhance its content and services:
- Teacherr (2021): A platform supporting educator networking and professional development.
- Don't Memorise (2022): A content provider specializing in multilingual, concept-based video lessons aligned with school curricula.[6][7]
- Wizklub (2022): A cognitive development company offering programs in analytical and creative thinking for students aged 6–14. This acquisition led to the formation of the Infinity Futurz vertical.[8][9]
Partnerships
In 2024, Infinity Learn partnered with Google Cloud to implement artificial intelligence features into its learning environment. The collaboration led to the development of IL VISTA, an AI system designed to deliver personalized and interactive learning experiences.[10][11]
Features introduced under this initiative include Doubts AI, which offers step-by-step academic assistance, and educator tools for lesson planning and student performance tracking. The system utilizes technologies such as Gemini and Vertex AI to provide multilingual and adaptive learning support.
Financial Performance
Infinity Learn reported profitability during the 2022–2023 fiscal year. In 2025, it announced a revenue goal of ₹500 crore[12], citing growth from subscription models, strategic acquisitions, and the rising demand for online test preparation in India.[13]
Reception
As of April 2025, there are no known controversies or legal challenges involving Infinity Learn. Some users and employees have shared feedback on online platforms; however, these have not been reported widely in mainstream media.
Expansion Plans
The company has expressed intentions to expand into English-speaking international markets. It plans to adapt its existing programs, including those under Wizklub, for learners abroad.
In Popular Culture
In 2024, Infinity Learn was featured in the documentary series The Indian EdTech Story, produced by Edstead and streamed on Disney+ Hotstar. The episode, titled Infinity Learn: Beyond the Horizons, explored the company's founding, platform evolution, and impact on digital education in India.
