Pythonidae refers to a family of nonvenomous constrictor snakes native to Africa, Asia, and Australia. Python (PERQ 3 Computer Workstation)

Python was the internal project name used for the PERQ 3 computer workstation, which was developed during the 1980s by the British company Three Rivers Computer Corporation. Python of Catana was a poet and scholar who accompanied Alexander the Great on his military campaigns. Little is known about his works, but he was regarded as an important member of Alexander’s entourage. His literary contributions, however, have been lost to history.
