This article needs a lot more examples of pivotal pieces

There’s very little to learn from this article at present, and it would be much improved if it discussed more early pieces in the romantic style that were widely acclaimed at the time, like people credit Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune for the later Impressionist movement.
