Nightshade is a computer program designed designed by the University of Chicago meant to discourage Artificial Intelligence companies from training off of certain copyrighted art by "poisoning" samples. It does this by having the AI see patterns that do not exist in the image. This results in the generation of art that does not follow the prompt given.[1]
