HAVA is a maritime criminality risk intelligence provider,1 which provides criminal record history and association information on vessels, organizations, and individuals.2 The HAVA database of information on the vessels, organizations and individuals includes for example details of crime category and offence record, as well as associated entities, and in the case of vessels International Maritime Organisation (IMO) number and Maritime Mobile Service Identity number. Users can integrate vessel tracking data and view integrated locations from the interface.
The HAVA service is accessible as a subscription. Additional functionality is available via HAVAs data integration API.3
The site is currently in beta testing with an intended release date of mid 2025.
How it works
Data is gathered from thousands of articles in six languages in addition to uploaded data from maritime criminality experts such as co-founder Dyhia Belhabib.6 Information provided is then evaluated and uploaded to the HAVA system. The site uses data from OpenStreetMap on its base map.
