High Technology Software was an Apple ][ software company in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, starting in 1978. The owner, Charles Weddington, opened the first computer retail store in Oklahoma City at 1661 NW 23rd Street in 1976.

After approximately six months in business, the company entered into the wholesale distribution of microcomputers as the first wholesale distributor of Apple Computer. The software group was started to enhance the salability of the Apple II computer.

In three years, High Technology's software group created thirteen products:

  • The Tool - Design data entry screens
  • Job Control Systems
  • Doctor's Office Companion - Patient scheduling and billing
  • Client Billing System
  • Disk-O-Check - Personal check book management
  • The Store Manager - Point of sale and inventory
  • The Order Scheduler
  • Information Master, Data Master and Transit - database and data conversion
  • Post Master - Miling list manager


Their Catalog includes Point-of-Sale, database, and professional application for Doctor's offices.
