Most of these programs for Mozilla Firefox should also work for the Mozilla and SeaMonkey browser series.

  • wikEd, a full-featured in-browser text editor that adds enhanced text processing functions to Wikipedia and other MediaWiki edit pages. Features include wikicode syntax highlighting, regular expression search and replace, and MS Word / HTML to wikicode conversion.
  • Comfortable editing functions
  • FoxClocks - the FoxClocks extension allows you to have one or more customized clocks displayed in the status bar or toolbar of the Firefox browser. Helpful to have one set to UTC/Wikipedia time, and/or to the time zone of frequent collaborators.
  • Googlepedia [1] - a Firefox extension that presents Wikipedia articles side by side with Google searches.
  • Greasemonkey
  • Picture Popups - enlarge images in place, or open them in HTML popups inside the page - no new windows opened.
  • Wikipedia Bilingual - a Firefox extension which displays a Wikipedia article in 2 of the languages in which it is available, side by side (for example, Russian and Spanish).
