Red Button[1] is a closed-source utility for optimizing and cleaning 32-bit and 64-bit Microsoft Windows operating systems, developed by Pothos.[2][3]

Description

This utility[4] provides a tool for optimizing and cleaning Windows family operating systems.[5] Its features include cleaning the system from junk, thus reducing disk space, changing hidden system settings, increasing the speed and loading of programs/systems, scanning and fixing errors in the system registry, improving the performance of game programs, removing/hiding built-in Windows components, terminating dynamic libraries that are not currently in use.[6]

The entire mechanism of the system optimization program is programmed in a single button, whose actions can be configured in the utility's parameters. Red Button[7] also supports command line options.[8][9]

The following operating systems are currently supported: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 (x86), Windows 10 (x86), including 32- and 64-bit editions.[10]
