I'm familiar with the concept of Abandonware, but is this legal?
Consensus amongst DAP member is "yes", verging on "maybe". In particular, the Mystery Science Theatre 3000 portion of the project, which was originally the only show archived by the DAP, has recieved approval from several notable people involved with the show, including Mike Nelson, Joel Hodgson, Kevin Murphy, and Mary Jo Pehl.
