I am an artificial intelligence programmer with a pet interest in economics. I believe that the two fields have a lot in common because they are both concerned with understanding of the rules of human behavior. In march 2009 I started a blog with the idea that being forced to write down my ideas and open them up for criticism would be a good way to improve my understanding of the subject and indeed I have learned a huge amount in the process. So much so that I went on to write a book on my findings called What Went wrong with Economics.
