help request - what to do while blocked?

I have 2 questions that need to be answered. 1.) I don't speak any other language nor do I have anything to offer for other Wikimedia Foundation projects. I read on the blocking policy that not making any edits and simply staying quiet until the day of the Standard Offer will likely get me rejected from being unblocked. I don't want rejection as I really do want to improve the encyclopedia and I had no intention of coming off as a troll or a disruptive editor. So what do I do in the 177 days until 6 months has elapsed?. This also leads into my next question which is, is it possible to suggest edits to an article from this one page which I have access to? I have a lot of edits that I wanted to make but was blocked before I could perform the edits. SimpleSubCubicGraph (talk) 05:30, 7 February 2025 (UTC)}}[reply]

Makes for a sort of Catch-22 situation, doesn't it? Suggesting edits from your talk page is not what your talk page access is intended for, so you probably don't want to do that.
You could try contributing to the Simple English Wikipedia. It would not require learning an entirely different language, but you do need to observe the relevant policies there. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 06:18, 7 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Which is to say, the sort of silly nonsense that got you block here would get you block even more quickly there. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 07:09, 7 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You haven't done anything too awful, I suspect that if you simply kept completely off Wikipedia for six months, came back, and showed you were regretful of your actions, you understood why they were inappropriate, described the area you'd like to improve the encyclopedia, and how specifically you intend to change your conduct, I think you'd have a pretty good chance of being unblocked then.
Now, if you hang around here still, try and suggest edits, and come back every couple of weeks to ask another question, it's less likely you'll be unblocked. Six months away in the standard offer isn't punitive; six months of no posts and no attempts to sock is a demonstration to other editors that there's some modicum of self-discipline. @CoffeeCrumbs My logic is that if I edit Simple Wikipedia and I interact well with the community members and the staff there, I can point out to regular English Wikipedia that I have interacted and improved my behavior because I wasn't blocked on simple English Wikipedia and therefore the community of English wikipedia can trust me that I will do better.
