Use of AI

Information icon Hello, I'm Ram1751. An edit that you recently made to Talk:Kalakand seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or other application using such technology). Text produced by these applications can be unsuitable for an encyclopedia, and output must be carefully checked. Your edit may have been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. @Ram1751 Yes!
I use AI solely for spelling corrections, nothing more. WHAT ABOUT SOURCES? Now, regarding sources: Kalakand is explicitly mentioned in an 1890[1] publication by the Nawal Kishore Press. Yet, you claim it was invented in 1947 and present that as a "reliable source"? How does that align with verifiability? Veritasphere (talk) 04:16, 19 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The source you had provided has a 1957 date:

@Ram1751 bro
I am not referring to the 1957 source but the 1890 book I mentioned on the talk page, which explicitly mentions Kalakand. If Kalakand was invented in 1947, why is it mentioned in a 1890 book? The 1957 reference suggests it was created by Muslims, but I don't agree with that. Can you provide any references earlier than 1890 stating that Kalakand was invented by Thakur Sahib or someone else? Veritasphere (talk) 04:39, 19 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
