Music

Music theory

I've never really focused on learning music theory, nor have taken any official exams (although I'm planning to this year, somehow). I only started actually "learning" (that is, things like workbooks and practice exams) in 2023, although I still slack off most of the time.

That is why most of my knowledge of music theory is restricted to playing the piano, although I'm learning (and failing) Level 7 theory for the piano exam.

Update from January 2025: I took the practice exam and got 88%. However, I guessed on like 60% of the questions. I am so doomed, never rely on me for theory-related articles :)

I occasionally compose for fun, but I never actually write it down, nor have any completed works. I mostly just keep a bunch of recordings. I'm also a member of my school's Music Production club.
