RAM vs RACI
Why can should there be only one "R" in the RAM? It seems that with the RACI diagram it is possible to have more than one "R". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RACI_diagram What is the essential difference?
- This issue is actually not specified in PMI's "A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge". RAM's are a tool that has emerged from practice and different organizations use it in a different way. In the German page they also note that the R's can be multiple. In http://www.valuebasedmanagement.net/methods_raci.html they note that it is unique. Apparently PMI have decided to preserve this freedom in the standardized model. I am not sure how other methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2) regard the issue.--87.120.170.245 06:27, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
Shouldn't we merge these two articles? RACI is just the most popular sample of RAM and even in its article other variations are mentioned. --87.120.170.245 06:27, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
