- Speedy keep with WP:NPASR. No valid deletion rationale has been offered, nor has evidence of a WP:BEFORE been provided. There is no reason provided why any COI that may be present cannot be addressed editorially. The WP:WEBHOST policy primarily applies to userspace and is thus not a rationale for deletion, and WP:COIEDIT is not a reason for deletion since such edits are not prohibited (just strongly discouraged). I would encourage the nominator to renominate with a valid rationale and evidence of a BEFORE search. Dclemens1971 (talk) 15:40, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
- @Dclemens1971: At best, this should be merged to Keysight. The "Dr. Jan Verspecht" who is the author (or lead author) of just about every academic paper cited in this article is the self-described "intrapreneur" of the company that is selling this as an innovation. - Keep A simple BEFORE style search yielded a book on the subject X-Parameters: Characterization, Modeling, and Design of Nonlinear RF and Microwave Components, which this book review suggest is a reasonable monograph on the topic. There is also the review paper Applications of X-parameters in behavioral modeling of RF power amplifiers for wireless communications: An overview and independent secondary sources discussing X-parameters, such as Comparative study of X-parameters and nonlinear scattering functions and X-parameter modeling investigation for microwave power devices. That X-parameters have been treated on similar footing as S-parameters and scattering functions suggests that X-parameters have had an impact on the field of microwave engineering. Raising a COI red flag for this article was a reasonable action, but deleting an article on what appears to be a notable topic would be the wrong approach to dealing with this COI. Hence, keep. --
