The attempt to change the previous article name and references to the ship from "Lider" to "leader", if accepted, would necessitate subsequent changes to other Russian naval combatant ship names from their current transliterated Russian into English to translations of the words. An example would that that all entries for the "Slava" class cruiser would have to be changed to the "Glory" class cruiser. The "Sovremennyy" would become "Contemporary" or "Modern", the "Udaloy" would become "Bold", etc. Conservation of consistency of usage within Wikipedia indicates that "Lider" rather than "Leader" is the proper usage in this case.Moryak (talk) 21:26, 18 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
