Che with hook (, ) is an allograph of the letter che with descender (Ҷ, ҷ) in the Cyrillic script. It represents a voiced or voiceless postalveolar affricate.

Usage

It has been used for the Surgut dialect of Khanty and the Tofa language.

Computing codes

Has no Unicode encodement, but the encodement will be decided by the creators of Unicode themselves. Uppercase may be encoded as U+1C8B and Lowercase as U+1C8C.[1] As of 2024, it is available in the font AncientSans in Private use area, U+E012 for Uppercase and U+E013 for Lowercase.[2] though it's currently not encoded in unicode, it can be approximated as ч with combining palatal hook so <Ч̡> for uppercase and <ч̡> for lowercase
