Not all control charts are Shewhart charts Comment

the opening sentence says 'also known as Shewhart charts'. That's incorrect; Shewhart's chart is just one of several types of control chart (consider cusum, manhattan, moving range, moving average etc). I'd suggest _either_ removing this from the intro and covering different chart types in separate subsections _or_ re-titling the article 'Shewhart chart' and linking to other articles for other QC chart types. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Slrellison (talkcontribs) 18:36, 19 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Bonnie Hall paragraph

The paragraph on Bonnie Hall and AT&T (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Control_chart&oldid=1131886944) seems out of place and is incompletely written; suggest reverting. 139.80.239.165 (talk) 03:32, 24 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
