The IP restored an identical edit by the master, in close temporal proximity to each other. The master has a history of edit warring (User talk:Modokai#September 2021 for example) and so this might be an attempt to avoid sanctions for edit warring. I kind of want to give them the benefit of doubt and say that they just accidentally got logged out (I think sometimes the log-in portal will forget you, its been happening to me at Wikidata and enwiki has been acting funky recently).
