Apparently invalid reasons for deletion

[edit]

Coming across this as a deleted target of a deleted redirect I was surprised to note the following deletion reasons:

  1. "written in 3rd person" All Wikipedia articles should b in third person.
  2. "A single class at a single university." A lecture series (in this sense) is generally an annual lecture, or lecture set, for example the Boyle Lectures or the Reith Lectures. These are often public lectures and I have never heard of such being part of a class, although it is certainly possible. All the best: Rich Farmbrough 09:31, 1 October 2024 (UTC).[reply]
