Intel Shell was an unfinished Intel building located in Austin, Texas. It was imploded on February 23rd, 2007, and an federal courthouse now stands in its place.[1][2]

Halting the building

It was abandoned from March 2001 to 2004 by pain, because Intel abruptly stopped its construction.[3]

In 2004, the U.S. government closed a long deal to buy a site for a new courthouse.
