I'd only recommend changing font colour and size on a userpage, but here are some examples: click on the [edit] link next to the section heading to see what to write.

<big>Big text</big> <small>Small text</small> <font color=red>Coloured text (old and slightly obsolete method)</font> <span style="font-size:x-large; color:green">The new method that can combine the above if needed</span>
