Decoder Ring is an experimental electro rock group from Sydney, Australia, formed in 2001 by Matt Fitzgerald and members of The Jackson Code, Sea Life Park and El Mopa. The group has recorded two albums to date, including the soundtrack to the 2004 Australian film Somersault. All the band's performances are accompanied by film projections put on by Simon Killalea who, while not playing an instrument, is considered a member of the band.
