The Linux Test Project (usually referred to as LTP) is a collection of regression and conformance tests designed to verify the behaviour of the Linux kernel as well as glibc.[1]

Initially started by SGI, the project is now maintained by IBM, Cisco, Fujitsu, SUSE, Red Hat and others. The LTP's source code is now hosted on GitHub.[2]

The LTP aims to test and improve Linux through a suite of automated testing tools as well as tools for publishing the results of ran tests.[2]
