What is Overpass[1]?

Overpass (Overpass turbo[2]) is a web based data mining tool for OpenStreetMap.

It runs any kind of Overpass API query and shows the results on an interactive map. Beginners may find the wizard a good place to start exploring the platform, as using it can sometimes get technical quite quickly.[3]
