Why is this category a sub-category of "Imperative programming languages"? I think Java is not an imperative programming language but declarative. If true, we should remove the category listing from this page. -- Sudarshanhs 15:57, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Java is an imperative language, and since Java is listed as an imperative language in the article you reference I think there's not a lot of argument on this point. —Doug Bell talkcontrib 17:34, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
