API Raffineria di Ancona S.p.A., also known as Raffineria di Ancona or Raffineria di Falconara Marittima, is a petrochemical plant 99% controlled by Anonima Petroli Italiana S.p.A., located in Falconara Marittima, in the province of Ancona.[1]

It has been certified for environmental protection ISO 14001, for safety OHSAS 18001 and for quality ISO 9002. Developed on an area of 700,000 m² in 1950, it has currently reached a processing capacity of 3,900,000 tons/year (equal to 85 000 barrels/d) with a storage capacity of over 1 500 000 cubic meters.

It is equipped with an overland shipping system for a capacity of approximately 12,000 tons/day and a sea reception system via marine terminals for oil tankers of up to 400,000 tons.
