Fred Housego (Born 25 October 1944, Dundee) was an English Taxi Driver who became a television personality after winning the BBC quiz Mastermind in 1980.
He was educated at Kynaston Comprehensive School and also worked as a messenger for an advertising agency, a Postman and a registered London Tourist Board Tour Guide.
Other Television appearances include Blankety Blank and This is Your Life and he has been a contestant on the Round Britain Quiz on Radio 4.
