Ivan Mikhailovich Musatov (Template:Lang-ru; born 14 February 1976, in Estonia) is a Russian politician and deputy of the 8th State Duma, serving since the 2021 Russian legislative election.[1] Previously, he served as a deputy of the 4th State Duma.[2] He is a member of the populist oriented Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR).

Biography

Musatov was born on 14 February 1976 in Rakvere, Estonia, then a part of the Soviet Union. His father was Mikhail Ivanovich Musatov,[3] a Russian politician who was deputy of the State Duma from 1995 to 2011, and also belonged to the LDPR.

He is a member of the State Duma committee on Culture. He attended a juridical academy from 2000 to 2003.

On 24 March 2022, the United States Treasury sanctioned him in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.[4]
