On the subscription plan, users can generate limitless images.
History
Ideogram was founded in 2022 by Canadians Mohammad Norouzi, William Chan, Chitwan Saharia, and Jonathan Ho,[1][2] and first released with it's 0.1 model on
August 22, 2023,[3] after gaining $16.5 million in seed funding,[4] which itself was lead by Andreessen Horowitz and Index Ventures. In the week following Ideogram's launch, at least 90,000 users were able to generate over 3 million images.[5]
Earnings
Excluding the seed funding, there is minimal information about Ideogram's early earnings after it's launch. However, Ideogram is known to have earned $80 million after it's 1.0 model release in 2024.[6]
