"Infinitude of symmetric square roots"

[edit]

The article claims that every identity matrix with at least two rows and columns has an infinitude of symmetric square roots, citing Mitchell (2003). But this source only claims this for matrices of exactly two rows and columns. Is there another source that claims this or should this be changed? Bbk001 (talk) 17:27, 9 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
