Last orders in 2002, what about 2003?

If I am not mistaken, the order was discontinued in 2002 [1]. But many recepients are listed as having received their award in 2003. I came upon this issue, when I checked the dates for Wilton Mkwayi in the German Wikipedia, see de:Wilton Mkwayi. According to another source [2], he was awarded the order in 1999, not in 2003. --Vanellus (talk) 19:22, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
According to http://www.sahistory.org.za/jquery_ajax_load/get/national-orders-recipients-1999, all the persons that — following the table in this article — have been honoured in 2003 received the order in 1999 already, in the last year of Mandela's reign as president which explains the high number of honoured persons. If there is no contradiction, I would adjust the years in the table accordingly. --Vanellus (talk) 16:38, 26 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
