Computer Science & Engineering Department
One of the Institute of Engineering & Management's oldest engineering departments is the Computer Science & Engineering Department. The NAAC has awarded IEM a "A" category grade. In 1997, the CSE Department was founded under the auspices of Kalyani University. Later, it was affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, which was formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology. Its goal from the beginning was to provide high-quality education with a focus on technical knowledge. Students from this department have consistently balanced extracurricular activities with academic performance, thanks to their access to cutting edge technology research. This is evident in their accomplishments in technical fests, science displays, cultural fests, and other extracurricular events.
