False sense of security?

I removed this prose from the article:

Although the MAC address can be manipulated quite easily, it is still legitimate to use VMPS as a security tool. It is indeed better to have some control of what devices are present on a network, than simply allowing every device full network connectivity.

Because this particular point is quite debatable. Regardless, it's not cited, and it's not with in the scope of this article either. Triddle 20:20, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
