Relevance of 'REASON' algorithm to an introduction to ALM

[edit]

The last two paragraphs of the section "Stochastic optimization" seem inappropriate to me. I believe I have a reasonable overview of the SOTA in optimization and the mentioned method 'REASON' is largely unremarkable and hardly relevant for a general information page of the Augmented Lagrangian method.

The whole bit seems to be overly written like advertising and both papers cited for this method also seem to be works of the writer of the section. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.99.40.51 (talk) 17:43, 26 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I do 100% agree. This paragraph should be removed. Guillaume Garrigos (talk) 09:19, 20 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
