Hello Wikipedia Community, I am a student at Western University and as a project for our Advanced Genetics Course we have been asked to choose an article to expand on Wikipedia. My idea for this article would be to expand on a brief history of simple transposons, focus on the mechanism and how it inserts itself into a genome, and describe some examples. I have also been researching diseases that arise from transposons. Please let me know what you think, I will gladly accept any constructive criticism or ideas others might have. Thanks.
