I think that current standard for ECIES uses SHA-256 since SHA-1 is depricated. Shouldn't someone update the article? Sorry I'm not sufficiently a cryptographer to write definitively on the subject. Hkc30 (talk) 14:36, 9 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
