[edit]

I noticed this article prominently features examples written in MatLab (and a reference to a such file, without any link btw). Wouldn't it be better (and more neutral) to use pseudo-code? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.179.199.24 (talk)‎ (talkcontribs) 08:36, May 29, 2017 (UTC)

I agree. 2.30.157.183 (talk) 14:50, 15 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect "kind" in first paragraph

[edit]

In the first paragraph:

the discrete Chebyshev transform on the 'roots' grid of the Chebyshev polynomials of the first kind and the discrete Chebyshev transform on the 'extrema' grid of the Chebyshev polynomials of the first kind.

Don't the "extrema" points of the grid coincide with Chebyshev Polynomials of the 2nd kind (e.g. Gauss-Lobatto)? 76.169.130.15 (talk) 00:08, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I just recently tried to clarify this at Chebyshev nodes. The extrema of the Chebyshev polynomials of the first kind are also the roots of the Chebyshev polynomials of the second kind. –jacobolus (t) 02:48, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
