"In order for "maximum likelihood" to meet the first criterion, it is used in a revised form as the deviance." I do not understand that, the Likelihood is strictly positive, the log likelihood may be negative, is that what is meant? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.65.51.39 (talk) 16:08, 20 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
